It’s Here, It’s Fast, and It’s Automated!
We’re pleased to announce the addition of a state-of-the-art Kugler-Womako binding machine. This equipment will allow us to offer completely automated and inline plastic coil and spiral wire binding. Book blocks can be automatically fed, trimmed, punched, and bound in one continuous operation. Collated books can be fed, punched, and bound. Many shops still handle plastic coil and spiral wire binding manually which is tedious and time consuming. We’re excited to offer plastic coil, spiral wire, and Wire-O® with speed, accuracy, and high quality. For more information, contact your sales service representative.
Another Bindery First
We were recently awarded what appeared to be a simple perfect bound job with matte film laminate on the cover. The covers turned out to be solid black (surprise!) and the matte film would mark just by looking at it. Once upon a time we would have gone back to the customer and suggested they go with gloss film or accept the marks in the matte film. Now we are pleased to offer a
scuff-free matte film laminate. We expressed the laminate in, got the job done on time, and the finished product looks great. No scuffing. While supplies last, we'd be happy to send you a sample of the book with the scuff-free matte film laminate on the cover. Call TJ Manning for info.

Bindagraphics Rocks Large 3-D Capacity Kit Folder Project
We recently completed what was probably our largest capacity kit folder project ever, or at least in recent memory. The crew at Bindagraphics exceeded our customer’s expectations when we rocked out over 400,000 capacity DVD box folders ahead of schedule. Each piece was film-laminated, diecut, and converted with a glued front super-panel and ¼ " capacity boxes to hold a DVD and some literature. The converted pieces were then packed in cartons and shipped to thousands of destinations. The job was printed on 18-point coated one-sided stock.
Thanks to our three-shift operations, duplicity of equipment, and an impressive staff of cross-trained operators, Bindagraphics was able to produce over 40,000 of these capacity folders daily. We had video of the production in action posted on our website, and our customer asked us to take it down. They want us to be their secret weapon. But we got their permission to let it be known that we could be your secret weapon, too.
Bindagraphics we’ll help you get what you want!
Another Postal Increase?
The U.S.P.S. is seeking an increase in first class postage by 7.1%, standard postage by 9%, periodicals by 11.7%, and package services (including parcel post, bounded printed matter, library mail, and media mail) by 13.4%. Ouch!
Come See Us at GraphExpo
We will have an awesome display of multimedia and custom packaging at our booth (#4177) at GraphExpo. Check it out!
