PRINTERS GO BACK TO SCHOOL WITH BINDA UNIVERSITY
Binda University offers printers an educational lesson in binding and finishing.
Baltimore, MD Bindagraphics, Inc., one of the nation’s leading providers of post-press services, hosted its spring session of Binda University on April 25. The ten attendees were provided an overview and explanation of different binding and finishing techniques, tips on incorporating binding and finishing into their projects and a firsthand look at the binding and finishing production process.
“Binda University is an excellent opportunity for customers to tour our facility, and learn about the various binding and finishing processes,” said Matt Anson, COO of Bindagraphics.
Anson went on to state that, “as the industry continues to change, the relationship between printers and binderies is becoming increasingly important. Binda University helps improve this relationship by providing printers a solid foundation of binding and finishing knowledge, allowing them to more easily communicate with binderies.”
Binda University, which costs $50 to attendcredited toward the attendees next job with Bindagraphicsis held semi-annually, every fall and spring, and is open to anyone from the printing or graphic arts industry. Each half-day seminar is taught by Bindagraphics’ experienced sales team, which possesses over 60 years of combined industry experience, and concludes with a plant tour of Bindagraphics.
